District Two - East Greenbush, North Greenbush and Poestenkill

Phil Danaher has followed the motto "People, Not Politics" during his years in public service. Phil has capably served as a member of the East Greenbush Town Board, and for years, has helped guide local officials as legal counsel for various towns and villages in Rensselaer County.

Along with working as an attorney and operating a busy private practice in the county, Phil has earned a reputation for his attention to constituent concerns and for his work in protecting taxpayers.

A commitment to community and public service began early for Phil. During his college years, Phil served as a youth basketball coach at Holy Spirit School and as a member of the school's parish council.

Phil and his wife Laurie are the parents of a son, Jared, and a daughter, Brynna.
