When residents of Troy need help, they know they can call on Bob Mirch. Bobby leads the Action Team of the Department of Public Works, responding to emergencies and snow storms, helping remove decaying buildings from neighborhoods and protecting city parks and neighborhoods.

As a legislator, Bob has led efforts to protect funding for county services for seniors, veterans and youths in the face of huge increases in state mandates. He has also been active in efforts to protect children and families from sexual predators, to reduce the impact of state mandates on local taxpayers and support job creation efforts.

Born and raised in the Collar City, Bob is continuing his family's tradition of public service. His father John served as county Surrogate Court judge and his mother Virginia was involved in many civic activities.
